INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

The Students of Southern Denmark (Syddanske Studerende - SDS) is a wide student organization at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) who is active on all of the five campuses which the university consists of. We are fighting for students' interests by actively improving the study environment, being in constant dialogue with the management and run for the governing bodies (board, academic council and board of studies).

Unlike any other student organization at SDU the (SDS) is not affiliated with any political party because we are solely fighting for the students' and we believe that following a single political conviction will compromise our effort to represent all students. Therefore we do not mix party politics and student politics instead we cooperate with those who pursue the same course as us. Your university - your vote

ABOUT THE STUDENTS OF SOUTHERN DENMARK:
We safeguard the students' interests which among other things include:

- Exchanging experience about the fresher’s trip, specialized Councils and social events
- To represent all students and get things implemented at a higher level at SDU through direct political work in councils and the board
- Involvement in Danish Students - the nationwide organization for students

We consist of volunteers who contribute with whatever we like. If you would like to commit yourself you will find that SDS does make a difference and that things are indeed changing, that you will never be asked to give more than you would like, but always recieve more than you thought possible.
